• Have Dental check ups regularly for professional cleanings and oral exams.
  
  
• Ask your dentist about dental sealants, a protective plastic coating that can prevent decay on the chewing surfaces of your back teeth.
  
  
• Replace your toothbrush every three or four months, but replace children’s toothbrushes more frequently because they wear out quicker.
